ytsum.io chrome extension

This is not the first YouTube summarizer around. Most of the existing ones I've looked at give you long blobs of text which are just a pain to read. Not something you can take in at a glance.

YTSum is a simple Chrome extension that gives you:

• A timestamped summary of any YouTube video directly on the video page
• Direct links to the juicy parts — so you can skip the fluff and avoid wasting yet another day on videos that never deliver; and if you're looking to learn from a video, knowing the structure beforehand lets you be more intentional about it.

No paywall. No account required.No subscription required. Use your own Anthropic API key. API calls happen directly from your browser, i.e. there is no server-side processing on our side at all. There's no analytics or tracking in the extension itself. It's pure.
